Earlier this year, my dear long-distance best friend, R gave me a really great piece of advice for when I’m feeling a little down: keep a collection of inspiring quotes in your phone to read to perk you up.
Words are powerful – not just for writers like me, but for everyone.
Hence why so many people read this blog (thanks y’all!) and so many share quotes on Pinterest like rapid fire. There’s something inspiring and simple about a sentence that hits the right spot and gives you the courage you need to turn a bitter, bratty day into a bright one.
From my iPhone to yours, here are some of the ones that I keep stored for when being single gets a little lonely, for when dating gets a little annoying, for when life gets a little tough:

Good Morning Readers!
It’s 5am here and I can barely sleep. Luckily, I was able to wake up to this gem of a blog! It’s so nice to read something inspiring when you first wake up, and I wanted to share with all of you! Enjoy! It hardly sucks at all ;)
This is awesome! Thank you!
These are wonderful! There are several that I really liked, and all were new to me, which is great because I keep on seeing the same ones on Instagram!
I actually have a “Happy Album” in my google drive which I use in my phone to cheer me up and I share with my friends when they are feeling down.
I get a text like “Ahh you don’t know what happened blah blah blah…” And I’m like, “Well have you seen my Happy Album?” It always helps in at least getting a smile out of you ;)
Thanks for the share and have a great day!
