50 Things
I’ve deemed 2012 the year I’m going to learn to live and really enjoy my life. These 50 things were mostly suggestions from those I love on things they think would enrich my life or help me grow into a better me. I’ll post about them as I go.

1- Go makeup free in public.
2- Be a hipister for a day.
3- Attend a live concert.
4- Be vegan for a week.
5- Take an unplanned weekend trip.
6- Learn Spanish.
7- Approach men differently.
8- Learn to meditate.
9- Attempt a really difficult recipe.
10- Learn to sew.
11- Learn to use a grill.
12- Learn how to wire a lamp.
13- Don’t speak a word for an entire Sunday.
14- Learn trapzee.
15- Run a 10K.
16- Leave the country (Canada doesn’t count).
17- Get over the fear of spending money.
18- Don’t think about any man at all for an entire day.
19- Don’t mention ex-boyfriends for a week.
20- Have no-strings-attached sex.
21- Go to a bar and befriend girls instead of flirting with guys.
22- Make friends with a man without any sexual or physical attraction.
23- Pay for the first date.
24- Go on a date with a guy under 5’10″.
25- Don’t drink anything alcoholic for a week.
26- Attend a gospel service.
27- Dance on a bar table.
28- Plank in a public place.
29- Don’t use my computer for an entire weekend.
30- Go camping.
31- Write handwritten Thank You notes to those I love for no reason at all.
32- Fly my mom to New York for Mother’s Day.
33- Be a better friend.
34- Find a charity I love and donate regularly to it.
35- Be a great bridesmaid.
36- Indulge in massages and facials.
37- Keep a budget.
38- Redecorate my room.
39- Buy something for someone else once a month.
40- Get someone’s coffee in back of me in line.
41- Stay out until 4 a.m.
42- Recycle.
43- Call my dad more.
44- Keep a workout schedule.
45- Go on a trip alone.
46- Be more organized.
47- Sing karaoke.
48- Say “yes” more.
49- Update my wardrobe. Heels included.
50- Find peace in myself. Imperfections and all.
